BRANDON MILLER
Founder and Managing Director
Brandon is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC #R507745), and the founder of Maple Immigration Services. He leads all of the immigration work, consultations, and strategy here, and he cares as much about how clients settle in once they arrive as he does about getting them approved.
Alongside his client work, Brandon has served as a settlement counselor, volunteered with the profession’s regulatory body, and taught and mentored new immigration consultants, including as an instructor in the immigration program at Herzing College in Toronto. He sits on Queen’s University’s national advisory committee for its immigration and citizenship law program, and he is a regular speaker at industry events, including the CAPIC NCIC 2026 conference. He is also the published author of Second Passport, a guide to Canadian immigration and settlement, and the creator of the Immigration Success System, his proprietary framework.
An eighth generation Canadian, Brandon spent more than a decade living and working overseas, including four years in Korea and eight years in the Philippines, where he built businesses and started his family. That time abroad taught him how to work across very different cultures, and it gave him firsthand experience of what it means to build a life far from home. Brandon is married to Ilien, his business partner, and lives in the Toronto area with his wife and two daughters.
ILIEN MILLER
Founder and Managing Director
ILIEN MILLER Managing Director, Operations Ilien is central to how Maple Immigration Services runs day to day. She manages the office and coordinates between clients, partners and the team, and she leads client communication and the community side of the practice.
Originally from the Philippines, Ilien came to Canada with her family for the same reasons many Maple clients do, so she understands firsthand what Canada offers and what it takes to get here. She is a Physical Therapy graduate of Capitol University, which led to a career as a medical representative with Pfizer and roles with multinational companies before she turned to helping newcomers. Her drive to help people shows in how she supports clients through what is usually an anxious process. Ilien speaks Tagalog, Bisayaan and English fluently.

DENISE CIPRIANO
Client Intake Assistant
Denise is a student in the Paralegal Diploma program at Seneca College who enjoys helping others reach their goals. As someone who immigrated to Canada at a young age, she is driven to assist the Maple Team help others reaching their immigration goals. She is originally from Portugal and fluently speaks both English and Portuguese.
MARIEL GONZALES
Client Processing Assistant
Mariel coordinates client processing and helps to manage the assembly of files. She works across nearly every stage of the Maple process, with a special emphasis on collecting and organizing the documentation that makes an application strong. She is one of the most frequently praised members of the team in client reviews, named alongside Brandon for thorough, organized and responsive service.
Originally from the Philippines, Mariel came to Canada at a young age and understands firsthand what it means to move as a dependent and the challenges that come with it. She holds an honours degree in English from the University of Toronto and speaks Bisayaan and English fluently.
SHAMIGREN FALCO CATALAN
Client Care Assistant
Shamigren Falco Catalan is a Client Care Assistant with Maple Immigration Services, where she supports clients with document collection, general inquiries, and administrative assistance throughout the immigration process. She works closely with the team to help keep client files organized and ensure required information is collected in a timely manner.
Based in General Santos City, Philippines, Shamigren holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from AMA Computer Learning Center College, passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers in 2016, and holds a TESDA National Certificate III in Bookkeeping. She is fluent in Cebuano/Bisaya, Tagalog, and English
RENALYN JOY LUNTAYAO
Administrative Coordinator
Renalyn supports the Maple Immigration Services team by helping prepare, organize, and update the forms and documents required for client applications, while managing our sister office in the Philippines. She provides important administrative support to the processing team and helps ensure client files are complete, organized, and ready to move forward efficiently.
Renalyn is based in Cagayan De Oro, Philippines, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Financial Management, from Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan. She passed the Civil Service Professional Examination in 2014 and is fluent in Cebuano/Bisaya, Tagalog, and English.
